There are few ingredients of the subject which appear to me to be more fundamental than this. The reality i've been trying to set earlier than my readers bears so strongly on the situation of a first-rate share of mankind, that I take into account it might be mere affectation on my phase not to say whatever about it. If Christ is the only manner of salvation, what are we to believe about many individuals on the earth? That is the factor i am now going to take up.
